Profit Sharing
Trying to look at the business from the viewpoint of a prospective outside investor, IF everyone on the team is set up for significant profit sharing, for them to get their profit sharing, there have to be profits, which are what protect the investors.
While there has been much publicity about "creative accounting" on the part of major corporations... there is plenty of opportunity here for honestly earned profits with sound accounting practices.
The opportunity exists because we've done a lot of homework. We've got years of experience in composting, and research in the field of composting.
The business plan provides for everyone on the basic operating team to get profit sharing. Our past experience has shown this sort of incentive stimulates top performance. The team leadership will stress how vital being a good neighbor is to long term profitability. With reasonable performance, some of the team will have over half of their income come from profit sharing.

The graph represents projected gross income for two positions, salary + profit sharing. The nice increases are the result of the team working smart, efficiently, enabling the microbes to work more efficiently. The spreadsheet and graph represent projections, The team has to deliver the results to realize the profit sharing, and of course, this further protects the investors, because the team has a major vested interest in optimizing the long term profitability of the facility.
We smile when we reflect that the real master composters are the zillions of active bacteria and other microbes, that we simply provide great working conditions for, oxygen, moisture and 'food'. The microbes come free, work 24/7, Sundays and holidays included, and are non-unionized.
Composting food residuals in environmentally and neighbor friendly ways, and optimizing turn around time and profit, requires a team of highly skilled facility operators, with unwavering commitment to excellence. This is not a business where unskilled labor is acceptable. We'll have to train and cultivate the team, because of the very specialized technology that we've developed.
